Blowers

  • The blower system is designed for air delivery to the aeration system.
  • For operational simplicity, positive displacement blowers delivering constant airflow at variable water depths are typically used.
  • When supplied with VFDs and DO control system, optimal energy efficiency is realized.
  • Centrifugal blowers employed on larger systems can also be integrated with DO control system and modulating inlet valve or VFDs for energy savings. 
  • A variety of duty-standby configurations are available to match a wide range of operating conditions, ranging from low-load startup configuration to full build-out capacity.
