Product Sales Codes

Xylem's Flygt submersible pumps are designated by two letters followed by four digits e.g. NP 3127.

The first letter describes the hydraulic section of the pump: the impeller and the volute. Since the impeller determines the field of application for which the pump can be used, this letter also designates the pump type to which the motor is fitted: type B-pump, type C-pump, type N-pump etc.

The second letter indicates the installation method for the pump: free-standing, stationary, stationary wet, transportable etc.

The digits represent the model and specify size and capacity in comparison with other pumps of the same type: NP 3300 is consequently larger than NP 3127.
